Our Story

We are a women owned business passionate about creating authentic cultural experiences to immerse travelers into Moroccan Culture.

Jamilla is an experienced teacher in Morocco and in the United States. She specializes in providing authentic experiences of Morocco to travelers and making Morocco feel like your home away from home.

Rashon is a health researcher in heart disease prevention. Her love of culture, food and travel has taken her to over 30 countries across the world, but she now calls Morocco her second home.

We are Jamilla and Rashon—friends, business partners and most importantly lovers of Moroccan Culture. After meeting in Morocco, we formed a Moroccan-American partnership to bring intimate travel experiences to travelers around the world. We partner with women owned business in Morocco and provide eco-friendly tours.

Exploring Morocco Travel is for travelers who love culture and community. We do all that we can to make sure you experience the rich culture that is Morocco. You will get to see all of the sites, but you will also learn about the history of the communities that we visit and the current lived experiences of Moroccans.
